Hundreds of villagers gathered in Karnataka's Belagavi district to organise the funeral of a 'divine' horse, flouting Covid restrictions.

A video showing hundreds of people attending the funeral of a horse in Karnataka's Belagavi district flouting all COVID-19 rules have emerged on social media. Soon after the visuals went viral, the village was sealed. The horse, belonging to a mutt, was assumed to have miracle powers.


As per the sources, whenever there was a crisis in the village, the horse was allowed to move around freely. Amid the coronavirus crisis in the village, the horse was too allowed to move around freely. During which the animal passed away. So a large crowd assembled to pay last respects to a horse dedicated to the local deity in the video. Watch the video.
