Watch: Punjab cop suspended for stealing eggs; netizens express their outrage

Pritpal Singh, Punjab Police head constable, was suspended from his service as a video of him went viral stealing eggs from a cart in Chandigarh.

Singh can be seen slyly picking a few eggs from the cart in the video and puts them inside his uniform pant pocket.

He moves from the premises and pretends nothing happened when the cart owner returns.

Sharing the video, Punjab Police tweeted, "A video went viral wherein HC Pritpal Singh from @FatehgarhsahibP is caught by a camera for stealing eggs from a cart while the rehdi-owner is away and putting them in his uniform pants. He is suspended & Departmental Enquiry is opened against him (sic)."

However, the viral video went garnered more than 11k views and people expressed their opinions in the comment section.
