Watch: Provoked elephant chases tourist vehicle; netizens enraged

A video of an elephant chasing a tourist's vehicle after provoking has gone viral on social media, and the netizens show their anger.

In the video, a group of tourists can be seen chasing an elephant in their vehicle at a national park in Sri Lanka.

The tourists can be heard laughing and creating enough disturbance while following the elephant.

A few minutes later, the provoked elephant turns back and start chasing their vehicle.

The driver reversed the vehicle as the angry elephant continued chasing them.

After a few seconds of chasing, the driver managed to turn the vehicle in another direction and retreated, while the elephant took another direction.

The video was shared by IFS officer Surender Mehra and captioned, "Just see the level of patience shown by the elephant. But, when you intrude into their life, they react.”

The video garnered more than 18k views, and tourists had to face enormous criticism from the netizens.
