Three men from Mumbai were arrested on Wednesday as a video of them hanging out of the window of a moving car with drinks went viral.
In a shocking incident, Mumbai Police arrested three men for drinking and driving after their video of hanging out of the window of a moving car with drinks on the Western Express Highway went viral.
The video was shot by a citizen who shared the video and tagged the Mumbai Traffic Police.
The traffic police traced the car by its number plate and arrested the trio and also seized the vehicle from one of their residences in Thakur Complex in suburban Kandivali.
A case has been registered under IPC sections 279 (rash and negligence driving) and 336 (Endangering the life or personal safety of others), and under the Motor Vehicles Act and the Mumbai Police Act.
