Watch: Men turn old saree into strong rope; netizens applaud innovation

A viral video of two men turning an old saree into a strong rope has amazed netizens.

In the video, one of the men can be seen riping a saree in different parts and then tears them into shreds.

The other person fastens the shredded pieces of the saree to a hook attached to a contraption placed on a motorcycle.

Then after some twirls, the saree pieces get entwined all together, forming a strong rope.

Advaita Kala, author and screenwriter, posted the video on her Twitter handle and captioned, “India, you never fail to amaze me with your spirit of innovation- and making a go of ‘what if!’’

The video has garnered around 33k views, and netizens praised the men for their outstanding innovation.
