Watch: MEA official's mash-up of Summertime Sadness and SSR's Khairiyat song wins hearts

A video of MEA official Petal Gahlot's mash-up of Lana Del Rey's Summertime Sadness and Sushant Singh Rajput’s 2019 film Chhichhore song Khairiyat has put the internet on fire.

In the video, Petal Gahlot, under-secretary at the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), can be seen singing the mash-up to the tunes of the guitar.

Sharing the video on her Twitter handle, she captioned, “This time I attempt a Hindi-English #mash-up. ‘Summertime Sadness’ by @LanaDelRey and ‘Khairiyat’ by @arijitsingh from the movie Chhichhore.”

The video has garnered more than 11k views, and netizens praised Petal for her talent.
