A year after surviving a snake bite, wildlife rescuer narrowly escaped from deadly king cobra's bite.

After a rescue call from a Hosanagara resident about a snake resting at the pond in the house backyard, Snake Prabhakar along with his assistant went near the snake, after he grabbed its tail from the edge of the pond. However, he slipped and fell to the ground, the snake charged towards him and would have punctured his leg and injected venom. But the rescuer was lucky as he managed to catch the reptile by its head.

Later the 12-feet-long snake was put in a gunny bag and was released in a nearby forest area. Now, the video of the 'lucky escape' is going viral on social media.
