Mumbai municipality official consumes sanitizer instead of water during Budget meet; video goes viral

In a viral video, an Assistant Commissioner attached with Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation ended up drinking sanitizer instead of water.

The official along with subordinates and education committee officials arrived at BMC meeting hall to announce the Education Budget.

Before the presentation, he grabbed a sanitizer bottle kept on the table. Noticing the mistake some tried to stop Pawar from drinking sanitizer but it was too late.

Pawar can be seen immediately spitting out the liquid after he realized his mistake. He was soon offered water to wash his mouth.

The video of this awkward situation is now going viral.

As per reports, the education budget for institutions under BMC limits is Rs 2,945.78 crore.
