IMD has issued a red alert for several Andhra Pradesh districts as a severe Cyclone Montha is expected to form over the Bay of Bengal. The storm may make landfall near Kakinada on October 28, bringing heavy rainfall, strong winds up to 110 kmph.

Police have filed a case against deceased biker Shivashankar for reckless and drunk driving that caused the Kurnool bus fire, killing 20 people. The biker, who died on the spot, lost control and hit a divider before his bike was run over by a bus.
