President-elect Donald Trump has announced plans to revive TikTok in the U.S. by proposing a joint venture that would see the United States owning 50% of the popular app. This announcement comes after TikTok ceased operations for its 170 million American users due to national security concerns surrounding its Chinese parent company, ByteDance.
