Woman claims UP BJP MLA, his family raped her; FIR registered

Bhadohi: A woman from Uttar Pradesh's Bhadohi has accused BJP MLA Ravindranath Tripathi of raping her. She has levelled similar allegations against his family as well. Speaking about the matter, Bhadohi SP, Ram Badan Singh said, "A woman had alleged that nephew of the MLA, Sandip Tiwari has had physical relationship with her on the pretext of marriage. Later on, she made the same allegation against the MLA and his family members. Based on her written statement, we have registered a case. We have a team which is investigating the case."
