A young woman identified as Neha was found dead inside a sealed blue drum near the DCW overbridge in Patiala’s Urban Estate area. The body was discovered near a garbage dump on Tuesday morning. Police identified her through tattoos on her hands after her family had earlier reported her missing. CCTV footage is being checked.

A woman named was attacked with sticks by neighbours in Shivpuri’s Ludhawali area after an old dispute turned violent. The assault, captured on CCTV, has gone viral on social media. Police registered an FIR against four accused persons. Aarti’s family also accused her estranged partner Nandu Rathore of planning the attack. Police are investigating.

An Indian woman, from Gujarat, was shot dead during a suspected robbery attempt at a supermarket in Virginia, United States, where she had worked for nearly 10 years. CCTV footage showed a masked man entering the store and opening fire before escaping. Local police launched an investigation and formed special teams to trace the attacker. 

A woman in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, was arrested after she allegedly attacked her husband with a sickle while he was asleep and severely injured him over suspicions of an extramarital affair. The victim, Rajesh Kaushik, suffered critical injuries and was admitted to SIMS Hospital. Police said the couple had frequent domestic disputes.

Two motorcycle-borne robbers allegedly attacked and robbed a man in Pathankot, Punjab, stealing his mobile phone and ₹5,000 cash. The victim later recognised the accused, threw a brick at them and caused them to fall from their motorcycle before a fight broke out. The robbers allegedly threatened him with a datar and escaped.

A Delhi man has been arrested for allegedly killing his 10-month-old daughter and dumping her body in a septic tank at his home in Mukundpur. Police said the accused, Deepak, initially created a fake kidnapping story to mislead investigators. CCTV footage exposed contradictions in his statements, after which he confessed to the crime. 

A shocking murder case in Uttar Pradesh’s Moradabad has led to the arrest of a woman, her alleged lover, her sister and the sister’s boyfriend for allegedly killing her husband, Pawan. Police said the victim was poisoned, beaten, electrocuted and tortured for nearly three hours before being murdered. 

A husband and wife were seriously injured in Jaipur after a speeding car rammed into their motorcycle. The impact reportedly threw the couple nearly 20 feet into the air. The victims, identified as Pushpendra Singh and Vandana Kanwar, suffered multiple fractures and are undergoing treatment in ICU. The driver fled the scene after abandoning the car

Madhya Pradesh police have arrested a couple accused of cheating at least 42 grooms and their families through a fake mass wedding scam in Dewas. The accused allegedly promised brides from an orphanage in Indore, used photos downloaded from social media, and charged victims between Rs 10,000 and Rs 25,000.
