Excise department officials seized 500 kg ganja from a lorry in Thiruvananthapuram's Attingal
Thiruvananthapuram: Excise department on September 6 seized 500kg of marijuana from Thiruvananthapuram's Attingal. According to reports, the drugs were transported in a lorry registered in Uttar Pradesh from Mysuru. The officials raided the vehicle and seized the ganja from the national highway near Korani junction.
Excise department officials arrested Punjab native Kulwant Singh and Jharkhand native Krishna who were in the lorry. The officials said that this is one of the biggest-ever ganja busts reported in Kerala
