Karnataka: Residents foil suicide attempt by mother of two
A woman along with two children had come to a lake to attempt suicide in Karnataka. However, alert residents who saw the mother along with her two daughters, rushed towards her and stopped her as she was about to push her elder daughter into the lake. The woman was later handed over to Kolar rural police.
Kolar: Alert Kolar residents foil suicide bid by woman with her 2 daughters. The incident happened on Wednesday (June 24) in Kolar rural police limits. The distressed women is identified as Salma, a resident of Rehmanth Nagar in Kolar.
A Kodikannuru resident said he saw the woman with two children standing near a lake and felt suspicious. When confronted the woman wept and said she decided to take the extreme step due to family dispute.
