Jharkhand: Several people have died in Giridh district of Jharkhand allegedly after consuming illicit liquor. A police official said, “8-9 people have died in Fakira Pahari village in Giridih since Feb 08. 3-4 people have died under suspicious circumstances. There are talks that they died after consuming spurious liquor. The cause is yet to be ascertained. Probe is on.”
