Bengaluru Violence: No CBI investigation; will teach SDPI and PFI a lesson, says Karnataka deputy CM

Karnataka deputy CM CN Ashwathnarayana who was on a visit to Mandya said that the Central Crime Branch Police will continue to investigate the Bengaluru Violence case and that there is no question of transferring the case to the CBI in response to a demand made by victim MLA Akhanda Srinivasmurthy.

The deputy CM blamed the SDPI and Congress's power struggle in minority-dominated pockets as a reason for the arson and vandalism.

He accused the SDPI and PFI of targeted killings and recalled the incident of an attack on Congress MLA Tanveer Sait and several other alleged killings by the mentioned organisations. He said the Congress government cleared their cases, but now the BJP government will teach them a lesson.
