Kumar emphasised that there is no reason for alarm because none of the incidents that have been published or discussed have the potential to cause mayhem, despite a string of technical difficulties experienced by Indian airlines in recent weeks and the DGCA restricting SpiceJet's operations.

This could be the most severe action taken against any airline recently. In just 18 days, eight incidents of flight safety were reported.
 

According to a bench of chief judge Satish Chandra Sharma and justice Subramonium Prasad, the Aircraft Act provides a robust structure for the aviation sector, and the court cannot prevent an airline from operating in the nation solely on averments (allegations) filed in a petition.

IndiGo's Sharjah-Hyderabad flight was diverted to Karachi as a precaution after pilots discovered a defect in one of the engines, as per DGCA officials.

Monday's incident was the ninth technical failure in a SpiceJet aircraft in the previous 24 days.
 

After the A320 aircraft landed at its destination, the cabin crew noticed smoke in the cabin. The passengers exited safely, according to authorities, who added that the DGCA is examining the incident.

Due to a malfunctioning weather radar, a SpiceJet cargo aircraft returned to Kolkata. According to a SpiceJet spokeswoman, the plane landed safely in Kolkata.This is SpiceJet's eighth technical failure in the preceding 18 days.

There had been no previous reports of an aircraft problem. Refreshments had been offered to passengers. "A replacement aircraft is being deployed to Karachi to transport passengers to Dubai," added the official.

Flight SG-2962 (Delhi-Jabalpur) was reportedly flying at 5000 feet when the crew and passengers noticed smoke inside the cabin. The pilots decided to turn the flight back to Delhi. 

All passengers are safe, as per reports. The cause of the fire, on the other hand, remains unknown.

 SpiceJet further stated that this restriction does not affect MAX aircraft operations and that the business has sufficient trained pilots on hand.

Earlier, the DGCA had barred 90 SpiceJet pilots from flying the B737 Max aircraft.

"An attempted ransomware assault on SpiceJet systems last night delayed and hindered early flight departures today. Our IT staff has contained and resolved the issue, and flights are currently running regularly," it stated.
