Two brothers from Haryana have been arrested in Australia for stabbing to death a 22-year-old MTech student from India. Abhijeet and Robin Gartan were arrested in New South Wales's Goulburn on Tuesday, two days after the fatal stabbing of Navjeet Sandhu in the Melbourne suburb of Ormond.

A young man named Prathamesh Bhokse died in Mumbai after consuming chicken shawarma purchased from a local stall. Despite receiving medical treatment, his condition worsened, and he passed away on May 8. Two food stall owners, Anand Kamble and Ahmed Sheikh, were arrested on charges including endangering life and sale of harmful food.

Before his transfer to judicial custody, HD Revanna was held by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) following his arrest on May 4 in connection with the alleged kidnapping of a woman. The victim levelled accusations against Prajwal Revanna, alleging sexual assault.

A real estate businessman, Karthikeyan, was brutally murdered in Banasawadi, Bengaluru, by a gang of miscreants wielding machetes. The Central Crime Branch seized counterfeit goods worth Rs 95 lakh in multiple raids across the city, following complaints from major companies. Counterfeit items mimicking brands like Hindustan Unilever and Reckitt Benckiser were found. Three men were arrested, linked to an established counterfeiting network. The operation highlights significant risks to consumer safety and brand integrity.

Disturbing video obtained from inside the residence corroborates these allegations, showing Mehar Jahan physically assaulting her husband, restraining him, and attempting to suffocate him while seated atop his chest. The footage also shows her inflicting burns on his body with a lit cigarette.

According to reports, both Sanjiv Lal and Jahangir were arrested under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) after undergoing overnight questioning. They are scheduled to appear before a court today, where the ED will seek their remand for further investigation.

The accused, Mohammad Chaudhary, assisted the two shooters, Sagar Pal, and Vicky Gupta, by providing money and conducting surveillance.
