Mobile Internet and bulk SMS services have been restricted in the Nuh district until August 28 due to concerns related to VHP's 'Shobha Yatra'. The decision was made to prevent potential communal flare-ups in the region, particularly with the upcoming G20 Sherpa Group meeting scheduled for September 3-7 in Nuh

The mahapanchayat organised by the Hindu Samaj will take place at the Palwal-Nuh border. The gathering aims to discuss the resumption of the VHP procession. Lokendra Singh, Palwal Superintendent of Police, said permission was given on several conditions.

Communal clashes in Haryana during a Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) rally led to the transfer of Nuh Superintendent of Police, Varun Singla, who was on leave when deadly clashes broke out. As tensions flared during the 200-person march from Edward Chowk in Nuh town around 2:00 pm, violence erupted merely ten minutes into the procession. According to police accounts, a sizable crowd reportedly pelted the group with rocks while they were walking along the main route.

The BJP, as well as organisations like the Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) and NSS, have started a campaign against Shamseer, claiming they are outraged by the speaker's comments about Lord Ganesh and the legendary "pushpaka vimanam."

The rioting was sparked by a religious procession taken out by VHP and Bajrang Dal in Nuh, about 80 km from the national capital, on Monday. The march came under firing and heavy stone-pelting and a crowd of about 2,500 people had to take shelter inside a temple.

At some places, "Hanuman Chalisa" were also chanted. The protestors are slated to chant Hanuman Chalisa' on Thursday evening at  Hanuman temples or any other temple to protest against the Congress promise.

Hitting out at the Congress in a series of tweets, VHP national spokesperson Vinod Bansal said the party which is being rejected all over the country is day dreaming of banning the Bajrang Dal.
