Law enforcement has registered a case of rape against unidentified perpetrators, and they have invoked the stringent Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act in response to this distressing incident.

Speaking at an event where he inaugurated and laid foundation stones for 76 projects worth Rs 343 crore in the district, CM Adityanath emphasized the importance of a robust legal system to maintain law and order. He underscored that the law should not be misused to disrupt the system.

The head teacher of Ladlapur Government School in Karnataka, Prabhukanta, is accused of sexually harassing female students, leading to his arrest under the POCSO Act after students and villagers reported his actions to the police.

The reports further said that the teen had been suffering frequent panic attacks after her father passed away in late 2020, compelling her to drop out of school after Class IX and enroll in an open learning institution.

Delhi Police have registered an FIR against the senior official under several sections of the Indian Penal Code and the stringent POCSO Act. When the girl lost her father in 2020, the accused allegedly offered to take her to his home in North Delhi and care for her.

A minor girl was allegedly raped by a public health engineering (PHE) department employee in Todabhim town in Rajasthan's Karauli district on Saturday, after luring her away to a room on the pretext of giving her a mobile phone for free under a state government scheme. 

A horrific Incident unfolds in Bengaluru, as a 65-year-old Private school Principal has been booked under POCSO Act for raping a 10-year-old School girl. The girl was said to be suffering from Dyslexia and was studying in 2nd standard. Case is lodged against the Principal and he is currently under Judicial custody.

The Court emphasized the need for caution in considering bail applications and criticized the bias against males in the legal system. It pointed out that treating all allegations in an FIR as gospel truth without considering the ground realities leads to significant injustice for men.

Aluva murder case: The accused Ashfaq Alam has been charged with murder, sexual assault and sections under POCSO Act and he will be produced in court on Sunday. 

Following an accusation made by a minor college student, a complaint was lodged against the priest for alleged sexual harassment. In addition to the POCSO Act case, a separate caste blasphemy case was also filed.

A case under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code, and also the Protection of Children Against Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, has been registered against the accused.

WFI chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, who is accused of sexual harassment, has refused to step down despite the chargesheet filed against him by the Delhi Police.

Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, wrestling federation of India chief accused of alleged sexual harassment by several athletes has been summoned to Delhi's Rose Avenue court on July 18.

The Gwalior bench of Madhya Pradesh High Court has recommended to the Centre to consider lowering the age from the current 18 years to 16 years under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.
