A policeman was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Kasaragod. Sudheesh, a native of Palakkad was found dead.

The Cantonment police slapped IPC Section 124 against SFI activists who attacked Kerala Governor Arif Mohammed Khan's convoy in Thiruvananthapuram. At first, the FIR contained rather weak sections, however, after the Governor's instructions, the police filed more charges against SFI activists.

The police will seek five-day custody for Ruwais over the suicide of Dr Shahna, aiming to gather evidence for filing a charge sheet on time.  The health department has suspended Ruwais, a PG doctor in the Ortho department of Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Hospital.
