In a recent address at the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee office, Congress leader and Legislative Council member BK Hariprasad voiced his apprehensions about the evolving party dynamics, subtly criticizing Chief Minister Siddaramaiah's stance. 

A complaint was filed against Monson Mavunkal in 2021 for allegedly defrauding people out of Rs. 10 crores on the pretext of returning the money. Additionally, it was claimed that the accused had misled the complainants by presenting them with false data associated with his account. The alleged links between Sudhakaran and the fake antique dealer were exposed after the two were pictured together.

Minority leaders of the Congress have reportedly voiced their demand for two seats in the Lok Sabha elections and preference in corporation elections during a crucial meeting. The meeting, presided over by Deputy Chief Minister and Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) President DK Shivakumar, took place in Bengaluru.
 

The Kerala High Court had earlier granted anticipatory bail to KPCC president K Sudhakaran for two weeks in connection with his alleged involvement in the cheating case involving the controversial antique dealer Monson Mavunkal.

Based on a statement made by complainants who had lost money in the cheating case, the Crime Branch made the decision to question the KPCC president K Sudhakaran and record his arrest. The complainants said they had given money to Monson Mavunkal in Sudhakaran's presence. 

Congress chief of Kerala K Sudhakaran was arrested by the Crime Branch on Friday (June 23) in connection with his alleged involvement in a cheating case associated with fake antique dealer Monson Mavunkal. However, he will be released soon as per the High Court's directive on bail conditions.

The Kerala High Court granted anticipatory bail to KPCC president K Sudhakaran in connection with the Monson Mavunkal cheating case.

In his complaint against Crime Branch DySP, Monson Mavunkal claimed that the latter had threatened to kill his wife and children if he didn't name KPCC Chief K Sudhakaran in the cheating case. 

KPCC president K Sudhakaran on Thursday (June 15) wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi alleging atrocities on Kerala Christian pastors in Uttar Pradesh. He said that they have been wrongfully detained on false charges.

KPCC President K Sudhakaran has been named the second accused in the Monson Mavunkal case by the Crime Branch of the Kerala Police on Monday. He has been summoned for questioning on Wednesday (June 14).
