A portion of the ceiling at Prabuddha Academy in Kalaburagi collapsed less than a month after its inauguration, triggering serious concerns about construction quality and student safety. A girl student narrowly escaped injury during the incident.

A 45-year-old man, Manoj, died after allegedly giving poisoned juice to his two daughters in Mannar, Alappuzha. The girls, Shivaganga (Class 6) and Shivakeerthana (Class 2), were found unconscious with him inside a car near a bridge.

A social media influencer Himanshu Negi was allegedly attacked by masked men inside a café in Clement Town, Dehradun on February 25. The assault, captured on CCTV, showed attackers beating him with belts and fists before fleeing when people gathered.

Two Indian students died after a house fire in Croydon, South London, on February 23. Ganti Abhishek died at the scene, while Kamineni Sai Srikar later died in hospital after critical injuries. A third student survived but remains hospitalised.
