The Enforcement Directorate has once again summoned India Today group's Chief Financial Officer Dinesh Bhatia for questioning in connection with the alleged Television Rating Points manipulation case.
The fresh summon for January 18 comes a day after he was questioned for over nine hours on Monday by the agency, which is investigating the money laundering angle in the case.
Sources said that agency officials were unsatisfied with the responses given by the CFO. Hence, he was summoned once again.
In his next appearance, Bhatia has reportedly been asked to carry some documents with him.
The India Today group is also believed to have been asked to explain certain conversations with BARC officials which allegedly indicate quid pro quo, sources said.
India Today's name had reportedly appeared in the initial FIR filed by Hansa Research in the case, which was revealed by the Mumbai Police in October last year. However, Mumbai police commissioner Param Bir Singh had later stated that no evidence had come up against the channel in the police investigation.
