'Recruited by ISI, trained by Pakistan Army': Explosive revelations of a terrorist
Asianet Newsable has accessed the confession tape of Pakistani terrorist Ali Babar, who surrendered to the Indian Army during an infiltration attempt along the Line of Control.
In his confession video, Babar acknowledges how Pakistan's notorious Inter-Service Intelligence recruited and sent him to train under a Pakistan Army trainer at Markaz-e-Khyber at Garhi Habibullah in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The 19-year-old from Okara in Pakistan's Punjab is heard saying that a Naib Subedar of the Pakistan Army trained him and others in handling weapons.
The terrorist said that his ISI handler paid his family Rs 20,000 and promised to pay Rs 30,000 once he returns safely after completing the assigned mission in India.
He was directed to infiltrate the border along with five others on September 13 and deliver a cache of weapons to Pattan in Baramulla.
He confessed that a fake narrative of 'Islam being in danger' and perceived persecution of Muslims in Kashmir was the main theme of indoctrination during the training.
