New Delhi: After India successfully conducted surgical strike and Balakote airstrike, now the Pakistan has realised that India will not hesitate in crossing the Line of Actual Control or entering deep inside their territory to carry out punitive operations in case of any attacks like Uri, Pulwama and Pathankot.

Talking to Asianet Newsable, former Indian Army officer and strategic analyst Brigadier V Mahalingam (Retd) said, “Pulwama attack has brought few important lessons. Firstly, in order to ensure a deterrence capability is built up every time there is a terror attack. We need to make sure that a suitable reply is given particularly in respect of Pakistan.”

“After the surgical strike and the Balakote airstrike, Pakistan has now realised that if there is any major attack India will not hesitate either to cross the LoC or for that matter to enter deep inside Pakistan’s territory and strike the target that has caused the particular trouble,” he said.

On this day in 2019, 40 CRPF jawans were killed in one of the gruesome terror attacks in Jammu and Kashmir, after a suicide bomber rammed an IED-laden vehicle into the CRPF security convoy.

The convoy had 78 buses in which around 2,500 troops were travelling from Jammu to Srinagar.

Days later, Pakistan-based terrorist group Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) took the responsibility of attack.
