To intensify the protest and attract attention, farmers in Bangaper Taluk of Kolar had brought donkeys to the streets as a protest against the central government's farm laws

The protest was done following a call given by Sanyuth Kisan Morcha and like-minded organizations.

The farmers had decided to block and protest at National Highways to send a strong message against the central government's controversial laws.

Earlier Kolar farmers had sourced a few essentials and also a can filled with petrol and placed it on a pushcart and protested by blocking the roads.

Similarly, the protest was held across Karnataka by various farmers' affiliated organizations and pro-Kannada organizations.

Due to the protest, the transport service was partially impacted as the farmers had blocked Highways.

A rally was organized in Bengaluru to make the Capital City feel the heat of the protest as a 12 kms rally was held from KR Puram to Freedom Park. Similarly, Farmers from Bengaluru Rural and Mysuru surroundings had gathered at Mourya Circle to protest against new farm laws and also against the price and faced arrest.

Pro Kannada Organisation led by activist Praveen Shetty held 'Uruluseve' (rolling on the ground) protest at Town Hall.

Vatal Nagaraj who also held a protest with his supporters expressed disappointment over Bengalureans and those who distanced from agitation said, theh moral support is not required and it is time to stop Cauvery water supply to Bengalureans to awaken their sensibilities towards the real issues.
