‘Iron man’ from Bengaluru solves pressing issues with LPG

Moved by the plight of roadside pressers, who iron out creases at their kiosks, tin sheds and carts, a good Samaritan gifted an LPG-fitted iron box to help a presser in Domlur Ward in Bengaluru to abandon the age old technique of using coal and take up the LPG iron box instead.

Bengaluru: Moved by the plight of a roadside presser, a resident in Domlur gifted Mani, an LPG fitted iron box worth 10,000.

The LPG iron box is capable of deriving energy from 5kg commercial to 19 kg commercial cylinders.

The new contraption gives relief to Mani’s lungs as the charcoal-based iron box he used earlier not only consumes time to heat up but also emits smoke. The LPG iron box also avoids the risk of clothes being burnt up due to sparks from the coal.

Krishna a resident of Domlur, says he has seen Mani for the last 13 years toiling for the service of the society with his charcoal iron box, and thought that it was time that he helped his situation. He then gifted him the iron box fitted with LPG.
