IMA scam: Investor dies of heart attack in Bengaluru; victim needed money to pay for daughter’s wedding

Pension Mohalla resident Afzal Pasha died of heart attack at Sapthagiri Hospital as chances of him getting his investment in IMA back grew slim. His daughter's wedding was scheduled for August 4, but Pasha was under a lot of pressure as he could not make any arrangements to pay for its expenses

Bengaluru: Afzal Pasha, a resident of Pension Mohalla in Bengaluru died of heart attack at 9:30pm in Sapthagiri Hospital, Hesaraghatta. He had invested Rs 8 lakh in I Monetary Advisory (IMA) so that he could use it to pay for his daughters’ weddings.

One of his daughter's wedding was scheduled to be held on August 4. However, Pasha did not have the money to make arrangements and there was no scope of returns on his investment in IMA, as the owner, Mansoor Khan, is absconding.

Pasha had invested Rs 8 lakh (Rs 2 lakh in the name of his wife Qamarunnisa and Rs 3 lakh each in the name of his two daughters).
