Christmas special: Santa Claus comes alive with 170 kg cake

Jodhpur: Christmas, the festival of joy and happiness is celebrated with great enthusiasm all over the world.  Rajasthan’s Jodhpur too didn’t lag with the festivities. A bakery located at Pal Road Ashok Udyan in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, prepared a 170 kg cake for Christmas. The huge cake was prepared for a special Christmas celebration in a private school. 20 artisans toiled hard for a week to prepare the beautiful cake. The cake stood tall at a height of 9 feet with 12 feet in length and 4 feet in width. The display of the cake at the school function piqued the curiosity of students. 

A private school in Jodhpur celebrated Christmas a day before and the 170 kg cake was cut on the occasion. It was a day of fun and frolic for the students as they enacted plays of the birth of Lord Jesus Christ. The message of Christ was delivered to the children and the stories of Christ were also told.
