Village in Ayodhya outskirts expects development after alternate land allocation for mosque

The village on the outskirts of Ayodhya found its way to news after Supreme Court verdict on Ayodhya land dispute

Ayodhya: The village on the outskirts of Ayodhya found its way to news after Supreme Court verdict on Ayodhya land dispute. SC's ruling gave 5 acre land for the construction of a mosque in this village in compensation of Babri Masjid. The land has been allocated in Dhannipur village under Sohawal tehsil in Raunahi town of Ayodhya. Residents of the village hailed the decision by the Supreme Court. A local said, “Construction of mosque will be a matter of happiness for us. Our village will be developed. Raunahi will be known in the world. A hospital and degree college should also be constructed in the village. We should be given 10 acre land as 5 acre seems less.” Sunni Waqf Board is yet to decide on accepting the alternative land for mosque.
