Kolkata: A salon in Kolkata celebrated International Women's Day in a unique manner. The salon offered to give complete makeover to transgender women on this occasion. The transgender women received varied skin and hair treatment. Transgender activist Ranjita Sinha said, “Today is International Women’s Day and transgender people are given treatment for skin and hair. It is quite unique for me since so far we have only lived under distinction and stigma.” Like others, transgender women got a chance to enjoy on Women's Day as well.
