Tasildhar washes tea glass at Dalit-owned stalls, warns villagers against untouchablity
Following the incident of social evil like untouchablity in Karnataka, a Tasildhar visited a Dalit-owned tea shop and also washed the tea glasses used by Dalits.
The Tasildhar identified as Ashappa Poojar from Mundargi taluk also warned the villagers of filing atrocities cases if he comes across such incidents in future.
The villagers used to force the Dalits to shut tea stalls and other petty shops in case there is death in their families.
Despite legislation and efforts to curb the social evil, this practice is still being followed in villages.
