Supreme Court orders permanent commission to women officers in Army

New Delhi: Meenakshi Lekhi, advocate and BJP leader on SC's announcement on permanent commission granted to all women officers, stated that all women officers will get equal rights that only men officers were getting. “Government's political will has been implemented. Now, the court has implemented it and flaked the authorities who were not implementing it. Now, women officers will get equal rights that only men officers were getting,” said Meenakshi Lekhi. Supreme Court today announced that women officers in Army said that the permanent commission will apply to all women officers in the Army in service, irrespective of their years of service.
