Students attack youth for saying ‘India is Hindu rashtra’ in Mangaluru

Mangaluru: A youth was attacked by a group of students at a mall in Mangaluru. This after he claimed that India is a “Hindu rashtra”. A video of this incident is now going viral on social media. 

Manjunath, a resident of Bantwal was attacked by a group of students from a local college. 

In the video, Manjunath is seen saying, “India is a Hindu rashtra”. 

Arguments break out between Majunath and the youth, following which Manjunath was beaten up by a group of students. 

Police commissioner Dr P S Harsha said that investigation will be taken up over the incident.
