Bengaluru: Dogs are supposedly termed man's best friend. But here's a case in Bengaluru where men have turned out to be the worst enemies for dogs. Around five stray dogs have been killed and three are batting for life as reports suggest that four unidentified persons fed food them mixed with poison.
A caretaker from MS Ramaiah City at JP Nagar in Bengaluru South took the help of a few volunteers and shifted three dogs to the veterinary clinic where they are fighting a survival battle.
It is said that four persons were present at the place at 11 pm last night and fed the dogs. On January 27, few dogs were found motionless. The caretaker realised the dogs were dead and that they have been poisoned. As she saw a few more canines showing signs of weakness, they were shifted to the clinic.
Following the incident, an FIR has been registered at the jurisdictional police station.
