SGPC condemns stone-pelting on Nankana Sahib Gurdwara, urges PM Modi to hold talks with Pakistan counterpart

Speaking to reporters, SGPC secretary Roop Singh said that its committee strongly condemns the attack on Nankana Sahib and urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to increase security for devotees visiting the shrine

Punjab: Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) on Saturday (January 4) condemned the violent attack on the Nankana Sahib Gurdwara in which a Muslim mob gathered outside the shrine and began to pelt stones at it.

Speaking to reporters, SGPC secretary Roop Singh urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to intervene in this regard and hold talks with his Pakistan counterpart Imran Khan. He also urged the PM to increase security near the shrine as devotees are facing trouble reaching the shrine.
