Roberrt's craze sweeps Karnataka as theatres witness packed houses
After nearly 10 months of loss due lockdown and occupancy restrictions in theatres across Karnataka and those in Andhra Pradesh borders have witnessed a crowd. All thanks to mass hero Darshan's 'Roberrt'.
The film makers Umapathy Srinivas and director Tarun Sudhir ensured they don't leave stone unturned in promotion which has resulted in packed houses.
In all districts, the film theatres witnessed a mad crowd. In some places fans arrived late night to get tickets to watch the morning show at 8 am. Right from milk abhishekam, bursting crackers, playing 'tamate' (country style drumming), raising slogans, fans are doing everything for the love of Darshan and his latest flick 'Roberrt'.
At Koppal's Gangavathi-Chandrahasa theatre hundreds of Darshan fans protested demanding extra tickets as the theatre had already sold tickets for next three days.
Roberrt is Darshan's most anticipated film and it is an action drama directed by Tarun Sudhir. The film was shot in different locations across India and also features Asha Bhat as the female lead. Apart from this, Tollywood's fame Jagapathi Babu and Devaraj play crucial roles in the film.
About 550 theaters across Karnataka are screening Roberrt and are witnessing a good crowd.
The trend of fans coming back to theatres started with Thalapathy Vijay's 'Master' in January and before the craze could die down, then Dhruva Sarja's Pogaru witnessed grand release on February 19. And now Darshan's Roberrt is set for some good box office collections.
