Bengaluru: Condemning the rise in the prices of petrol and diesel, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) members and workers staged a protest at Maurya Circle, Bengaluru on Monday. The protesters shouted slogans against Karnataka chief minister BS Yediyurappa and the Central government for hiking petrol and diesel prices. In the budget presented by CM Yediyurappa on March 5, the state tax on petrol and diesel rose from 32% to 35% and 21% to 24% respectively.
