Nindar village farmers perform land samadhi satyagraha by burying themselves neck-deep in pits

Farmers have taken up land samadhi satyagraha in protest over the action of Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) once again in Nindar village of Jaipur

Jaipur: Once again, farmers have taken up land samadhi satyagraha in Nindar Village, Jaipur. In protest over the action of the Jaipur Development Authority (JDA), two years ago, the farmers had performed land samadhi satyagraha for 44 days.

The satyagraha that was started against the land acquisition of JDA is being led by Dr Nagendra Singh Shekhawat and is conducted under the banner of Yuva Kisan Sangharsh Samiti. Singh says that the JDA is reclaiming land in Nodar, but there have been no talks with farmers regarding the same.

The occupation of land (Nindar Awasiya Yojna) was started without any negotiation. For this reason, once again, they had to adopt the path of movement. Under this, the farmers are protesting by digging a pit in the ground and burying themselves up to the neck.
