Meet Hyderabad's first woman food delivery agent

Hyderabad: Meet the first woman delivery agent who is working with online food ordering and delivery platform Swiggy in Hyderabad. Janani Rao, said, "It's been two and a half months since I joined this service. It's very interesting since it's a different kind of experience as we get to learn a lot of life skills, we get to meet a lot of different kind of people and the customers are very appreciative. They are always pleasant towards you as they say it's very nice to see a woman on this field." Being educated and hailing from a family of corporate employees, the young girl also hopes that the taboo and stigma around such jobs in our society fade away. Janani finished her graduation in psychology and mass communication this year and was freelancing as a writer until she took up the job of a delivery partner with Swiggy.
