Legal notice to manufacturers of firecrackers insulting Hindu Gods, demand to ban China-made crackers
Hindu Janajagruti Samiti has sent legal notices to firecracker manufacturers in Sivakasi and Bengaluru alleging that manufacturers are insulting Hindu Gods and sentiments
Hindu Janajagruti Samiti has submitted a representation to the police commissioner of Bengaluru demanding ban on firecrackers manufactured with pictures of Hindu Gods. They also demanded a ban on China-made firecrackers as they harm the environment. Representatives of the Samiti also said that they have issued legal notices to manufacturers of firecrackers in Sivakasi and Bengaluru.
