In a landmark judgment, the Karnataka High Court has quashed the suspension of a constable who was found sleeping on duty during a 16-hour shift. The constable, Chandrashekar, was forced to work double shifts for 60 consecutive days without a break, leading to severe sleep deprivation. The court ruled that the constable's actions were justified due to the excessive workload imposed by the Kalyana Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (KKRTC). WATCH.
