Indian Hajj Association president meets Rajinikanth: Superstar clarifies stance on CAA, NRC

Chennai: Indian Hajj Association president Abu Backer met actor and politician Rajinikanth in Chennai on February 29. Backer said, "It was a courtesy call. We discussed a wide range of issues including incidents unfolding in the state and the country." On February 28, Rajinikanth had said that he would meet Muslim clerics and anti-CAA protesters to reason out his backing of the CAA and NPR.
