Go back to school: BMTC tries right approach to correct bus drivers who go the wrong way

Bengaluru: To ensure its drivers display lane discipline while taking BMTC buses on to the roads, the corporation will place traffic rule violators under suspension. This decision was taken following reports of drivers heading in the wrong direction on a one-way road, resulting in chaos.

Eyewitnesses uploaded a video of a BMTC bus, blocking traffic that kept piling up by the second, on Twitter.

In the video, members of the public can be seen confronting the driver for causing the mess. Following this complaint, the BMTC took note of the offence and has already placed the driver under suspension and has sent him back to training school.
