Education Minister statement on school reopening during Britain virus scare

After the meeting with technical experts committee and chaired by CM BS Yediyurappa, attended by health minister Dr K Sudhakar, Education S Suresh Kumar said under the guidelines given by the committee, classes for 10th and 12th standard will be held from January 1st and for students from 6th to 9th the classes will be held as per revised Vidyagama program.

However it is mandatory for students to get permission letter from parents to attend schools and attendance is not mandatory.

The Zilla Panchayat CEOs of each district are responsible to ensure the school activity and follow complete guidelines put forth by expert committee.
