Customs department's first canine training centre inaugurated in Attari
The customs department on February 15 inaugurated its first centre to train dog squads on detection of narcotics, explosives, counterfeit currency and other contraband items at the Attari border in Amritsar
Amritsar: The first sniffer dog training centre for canines of the customs department was started at Attari in Amritsar on February 14. The training centre is named as 'Customs K-9 Centre’. Currently 11 sniffer dogs are being trained at the centre.
