CRPF jawan from Tamil Nadu among Handwara martyrs who died fighting terrorists

 At least three CRPF personnel and one civilian were killed while seven others were injured in a terrorist attack in Wangam in Jammu & Kashmir’s Handwara on Monday.

Tirunelveli: In another tragic incident in Jammu and Kashmir, three CRPF personnel lost their lives in a terrorist attack in the Kupwara district. One among them hails from Tamil Nadu. He is identified as Constable C Chandrasekar from Tamil Nadu's Tirunelveli.

This is the second attack in Handwara in the past 48 hours. On Sunday, May 3, four Indian Army personnel, including a Commanding Officer of 21 Rashtriya Rifles unit, a Major, two soldiers and one Jammu and Kashmir policeman were killed in an encounter.

Tamil Nadu chief minister K Palaniswami on Tuesday condoled the death of the 31-year-old Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) soldier.
