
Coronavirus: Two more positive cases in Punjab, Retreat Ceremony at Attari-Wagah Border called off
The Retreat Ceremony at the Attari-Wagah Border that takes place every day has been called off till further notice as around 20,000 people gather for it. This is to take precautionary measures as coronavirus has been spreading at a fast pace.
Amritsar: A 13-member team travelling to India via Italy has been quarantined for suspected coronavirus. They have travelled to Amritsar from Delhi. They have been issued instructions to stay locked up in their hotel rooms.

Two people from Punjab have reportedly tested positive for coronavirus. They have been admitted at Guru Nanak Dev Hospital and their samples have been sent to National Virology Institute. Two more from Amritsar were reported.
Meanwhile, Retreat Ceremony held every day has been called off due to the spread of the deadly virus. DC Shivadular Singh said around 20,000 people watch the Retreat Ceremony at the Attari-Wagah border on a daily basis and hence have asked the people to stay away from the border.
