Bengaluru: As a precautionary measure to fight the deadly coronavirus, Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has taken up the massive task of spraying disinfectant and cleaning up 8,800 buses in its fleet.

The staff from each division are monitoring the sanitisation process and are ensuring hand railings, supporting bars, seats, steering and doors are cleaned up by spraying Dettol and other disinfectants.

The officials say this cleaning process will be done every day until further orders from the government, in order to keep its passengers safe from infection.
